Goodyear, Arizona - Pat Coker (99 Yrs.) was called home on the morning of February 10th, 2025. She was born on April 19th, 1925 in Lakenheath, England to Alfred and Violet Flack. She met her future husband, Robert Glenn Coker, while he was stationed in England during WW11. After Glenn returned to the U.S., he and Pat continued to correspond which led to his asking Pat to come to the U.S. and marry him Leaving her family and friends behind, her great adventure to the U.S. was made by steamship and train alone. Pat married Glenn on August 29th, 1947 at the First Baptist Church of Buckeye, Arizona. Glenn and Pat ultimately made their home in Arlington, Arizona where they raised their family.

Pat was every bit the proper English lady who adapted to the dust and heat of Arizona. She was totally devoted to her family. She and Glenn enjoyed traveling with the RV around the west and particularly to the Odd Fellows Campground near Payson. They were long-term members of the Oddfellows and Rebekahs where their held various offices over the years. She loved square dancing with Glenn as well as knitting for family and U.S. troops.

Pat lost Glenn on June 1st, 2008 after 60 yrs. of marriage. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother & sister in England, her three sons, Terry, Mike and Jeff and grandson Jason. She's survived by her brothers-in-law Fremon (Brenda) Coker, Calvin (Clarice) Coker and daughter-in-law Tammy Coker, three granddaughters, Jennifer (Butch) Morgan, Jeanna Coker and Jazman Coker and great grandsons, Ashton & Isaak Morgan and Jack Coker along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Pat donated her body to Science Care. The family requests any donations may be made to Faith Hospice, 426 N. 44th Str., Suite 405, Phoenix, AZ 85008.

A private celebration of life will be held on Pat's 100th birthday.
