Peoria, Arizona - Petra Villela, 87, of Tolleson, was born in Planada, California on September 9, 1937. She passed away peacefully with her beloved nieces, Stella and Mary Helen, and her dear friend Isabel by her side on February 4th.

Petra moved to Tolleson with her family when she was very young and spent her entire life there. Petra enjoyed sharing stories about growing up in Tolleson and how it changed over the years, and of her days working at Revlon. She never forgot a detail!

Even though she never had children, she loved her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews so much, but she loved her great-great nieces and nephews the most! She was a very proud Tia, and never missed a birthday or milestone for anyone she cared about.

Petra was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, her sisters Carmen Marinez and Margaret Rojas, her brother Phil Villela, and her niece Rachel Rojas. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Ray Villela (Lydia), and all of her nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Crystal Rose Funeral Home in Tolleson on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
