Avondale, Arizona - Mrs. Jean M. Belzer, 94, of Avondale, AZ died on 04/24/25 in Avondale AZ. She was born 06/24/1930 in Cainsville, MO to Milton P. Vredenburg and Dorothy J. Vredenburg.
Jean married Robert R. Belzer in 1948 and she and Robert had four children, Jane, Milton, Steven and Dorothy. They lived in Chariton, IA for many years and they moved to Litchfield Park, AZ in 1971. Jean worked as a legal secretary at the Maricopa County Attorneys Offices for many years and was designated "Employee of the Year" prior to her retirement.
Jean was active with her church, Church of Litchfield Park.
She was most recognized for her love for genealogy and was a member of many National Associates and she performed officer duties in many of the groups.
She is survived by three of her children: Jane A. Foster, Dorothy J. Martinez, and Steven R. Belzer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00am at The Church of Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park.
