Buckeye, AZ - In Loving Memory of James Royal Conrod

James (Jim) Conrod, 79, of Buckeye, AZ was called to Heaven by his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Jim was born in Little Rock, AR to Hilma and Floyd Conrod. In 1957, Jim and his mother moved to CA. where Jim graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino and then was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War. After he was honorably discharged he earned his degree in criminal justice at Valley College and began his long and rewarding career enforcing the law in CA and WA states. After 3 decades Jim became the Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Redlands, Ca. until he retired in 2014. Jim chose Buckeye, AZ because his two great granddaughters lived there.

Shortly after the move he was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. He fought a long and hard battle with his families love and support.

Jim is survived by his wife Sarah, his daughter Lori, (son-in-law Trey), his sons Steve, (daughter in law Cindy), Joel, Jack and Jon. He has 10 Grandchildren, and 15 Great-Grandchildren who all loved their "Papa" dearly, TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD~

Services to celebrate and honor the great and loving man he was will be held at his church on Saturday, April 12 at 10: 30 a.m. Lunch will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall at White Tanks Baptist Church~ 1420 W 192nd Ave. Buckeye AZ 85396 Open to friends and family.
