Avondale, CA - Jack Harold Testerman Jr, 85, of Avondale, Arizona died June 5, 2025
Born June 5, 1940, in Van Buren, Arkansas to Harold (Jude) and Anna Bell Testerman. He married Barbara Appling June 16, 1960, in Dumas, Texas.
Jack was a proud United States Marine, stationed at Camp Pendleton,
California 1958-1962.
Jack began with Kerley Chemical/Texas Sulphur, where he continued for 45
years, retiring in 2016. He was highly respected in the mining and trucking
industry by his colleagues and peers. Jack was an avid wood worker,
making many American Flags and birdhouses that he generously shared
with many.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2017, his parents and two
brothers Tommy Testerman and Gene Testerman and one grandson Tyler
Jackson Troutman.
Survivors include his only daughter, Karla Testerman-Witt and husband
Aaron of Avondale AZ; grandsons, Shelby Melban of Plainfield Indiana,
Shayne Melban and wife Jayna of Dumas, and Tyson Witt of Surprise,
Arizona, great grandchildren Sawyer, Becket, Avonlea and Archer; two
sisters, Lois Ann Dick of Florence Oregan and Karen Long of Seminole TX.
He was a very special uncle to many nephews, nieces and their families.
A celebration of life will be held by the family July 12, 2025, in Goodyear,
AZ.
