Litchfield Park, AZ - It is with heavy hearts that we are saying goodbye to a dear husband, father and grandfather.

Dr. Daniel Patrick Donoho passed into the presence of his loving Savior, Jesus Christ on October 29, 2024, in Goodyear, AZ. Dan was born in Salem, Illinois on June 10, 1952, to Louie and Sarah Donoho. Dan spent his childhood as an Army Brat, traveling and living all over the world. As a teen, he was involved in competitive horsemanship, and enjoyed showing horses, through jumping events and dressage. He attended Iowa State University (where he met his forever sweetheart, LuAnne Owen,) the University of Illinois, and Loyola University in Chicago, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following his graduation, he practiced dentistry in the Chicago area before relocating to Litchfield Park, AZ in 1987. He owned his own dental practice in Sun City, AZ for most of his career where he was able to extend his utmost care to his patients.

Along with his successful and well-respected 37-year career as a dentist, Dan was an active resident of Litchfield Park. Dan was a member of the Litchfield Park School Board for many years, eventually serving as president. He was active in numerous civic organizations in Litchfield Park, as well as a faithful member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Goodyear, and most recently, Palm Valley Community Church in Goodyear.

One of Dan's greatest passions was spending time with his family. Another great joy of his was traveling. Over the years, he was able to combine the two by planning trips for both his immediate and extended family, as well as his many close friends. He enjoyed downhill skiing in Telluride, Co and summers entertaining friends and family on his boat in Coranado, CA . This past summer, even in failing health, Dan insisted on a trip to Cabo San Lucas with LuAnne to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Dan will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, his steadfast faith, and his easy smile. His favorite moments were spent with his family and friends gathered around him, just enjoying their company.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, LuAnne, and sons Brent (fiancé Cristina Martin) and Kevin (Kelly) and 2 grandchildren, Lily and Carter; his brothers Dave (Carol) and Joe (Tammi) brother-in-law Brent (Anne) and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Sarah Donoho.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held at Palm Valley Community Church on November 16 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palm Valley Community Church, 431 N Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, Az 85338.
