Goodyear - Crystal Waldtraut Diamond (born Sprenk) passed away on Wednesday morning, January 8, 2025. Crystal was born in Riga, Latvia and lived all over Western Europe as the daughter of a Railroad worker. She was born on November 21, 1935 to Erna and Nikolai Sprenk, both deceased. She was the oldest of six, Werner (deceased), Renate Wenzel (Erich), Karin Melton (deceased), Dr. Peter Sprenk (Christina), and Reinhart (Victoria)

She is married to Samuel I. Diamond, and had four children. Hannelore Wiley (Danny), Oliver Friedrich (deceased), Patrizia Emanuele (Tony, deceased) and Michele Diamond.

She was the grandmother of 11, the Great Grandmother of 14 and the Great-Great Grandmother of five. To complete the family, Mini and Misty the fur babies.

Crystal was 89 when she passed away. She and Sam just celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary last month. After being wed, they stayed in the Army for 15 more years, finally retiring in the Southern California area, later settling in the valley of the Sun which they both love. She will be missed but not forgotten.

We celebrated her life on Saturday Jan. 18th at Surprise Funeral Care.
