Charles Darrel Collins Obituary

Granger, Tx - Charles Collins, 76, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Granger, Texas.

Born on October 22, 1948, Charles dedicated much of his life to hard work and family. He was a roofer from a young age until he retired. He was known for his friendly nature and warm spirit; he never met a stranger. His kindness left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. He shared his love of horses with his family whether it was at the gymkhanas, roping or just trail riding. He loved fishing and sitting on his porch watching the deer and hummingbirds.

He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Grilene Collins, and a loving father to four daughters: Valerie Billingsley, Rhonda Nowak (Kent), Lillie Jonovich, and Charlene Perez (Joe) and one son Bret Henderson (Russ). His legacy continues through nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Charles is also remembered by one brother and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Grilene Collins, his mother Mary Collins, and his father Darrel Collins.

Charles?s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
