Richard Phillip Dennis
Richard Phillip Dennis, Jr., lovingly known at Toto to all his family and friends, passed from this life into his eternal home on October 16, 2019, in Chandler, AZ, the home he shared with his sister, Debra and family. Toto was born in Phoenix, AZ, to Norma McCrary Dennis and Richard Dennis, Sr., on January 13, 1970. He was their first son. Toto lived and worked and attended school in Buckeye, AZ, where he resided until recent health conditions. Toto was a painter primarily as well as a handyman, and not just any painter and handyman, but one who took great pride in his workmanship and rightfully so. He loved the outdoors and escaped to the beach and forest anytime he could. Toto was an excellent cook and loved dogs, the beach, forest and dunes and being with family. Toto leaves behind a trail of broken hearts-his father, Richard Dennis, Sr., sister Debra Dennis Phillips, brother in law, Jesse Phillips, sister Staci and brother in law, Adrian Olivas, brother Greg Dennis, and brother Ryan Dennis and sister in law, Kristy. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Henry, aka Honey Boy, who is now being cared for by his Uncle Ryan and family, his nieces Alexis, Lacey, Madison, Bella, Miah, nephews Colten, Andrew, Brandon, Jesse, and Caden, many cousins, aunts, uncles and good friends. Services have been held. Until we meet again...

My memory of Toto is when he was a young boy I went to the Dennis' house to get my sister Denise and he was sitting at the kitchen table eating and his Mother was telling him that he'd had enough and he disagreed. His Mother called upon his Dad to tell him he was done. He replied "Mom, I'm not finished yet", I laughed so hard and so did he. It's now a beautiful memory I have of the both of them!

So many memories of growing up together. One of my favorites is eating bean burritos and trappies hot peppers. It was You, Somo, Nay and me trying to see who could eat The most trapps.

I miss you so much my brother! I think of you every single day, every hour/second! You are always in my heart and on my mind. Most days it has been tears that fall from my face when I think of you not being here anymore, but the dreams that I have of you show me that you are ok. You have told me many times that you are ok and that you love me. I love you too!! Just know that we love you so much! Your name is mentioned every single day, multiple times!! The only thing I wish is that you weren't taken away so soon, but we aren't supposed to question god, just trust him & I do. I hope you know that our relationship and special bond we shared...I wouldn't change at all❤️ I miss our daily p...hone calls and the many times a week I would see you and share something like dinner or dessert which always included laughs! I miss that! I miss YOU! Your smile, the way you always asked where boo, maddy or adrian was when one of them wasn't with me. Your heart was filled with such love and warmth that even today, I feel it! You gave me the gift I will always treasure.. a relationship I will forever be grateful for, one that will carry me through this.. you will forever have a piece of my heart with you .....until we meet again, my beloved brother❤️❤️Read more

Toto was an all around wonderful man. He cared so much for his family and friends and made his friends feel like family. I will miss his phone calls and his conversation. He always made sure I had my own bag of tamales because my husband would eat all of them! Thank you for gracing our lives Toto. Till we meet again..

I miss you so much brother! Not a day goes by , not even a second that I’m not thinking of you! Some days are harder than others… Lately thoughts of you are followed by tears running down my face because the thought of you actually gone still hurts a lot! Lately, I’ve had many dreams of you… And in my dreams you have said “Nay, I’m OK and I love you“ and then you disappear… This is actually helped me so when I think of you I will smile now… Still hurts like hell, But I know that you are OK! I will miss our daily phone calls and Visits at Goos a few times a week! The Times that We would Drive to your house to take you something that I had made or a dessert I had baked , always turned into laughs ❤️ Those times that I would see you and either Adrian, Boo, or Maddy happen to not be with me… You would always ask where they were.. this would be the first thing you would ask.. The reason for that is because your heart was so full of love and thats just one of the very special things about you! I am very grateful for the relationship that you and I shared… Very thankful and blessed to have had you in my life daily! We have always been connected and we still are because you’re coming to me in my dreams… I love and miss you so much… Until I see you again just know that you have a piece of my heart! Rest in sweet paradise brother… And tell mom that I love her so much!! ❤️❤️❤️Read more
