Jay Angus Our beloved, Jay Angus, 72, of Litchfield Park, AZ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the morning of July 31, 2017 after a commendable battle with cancer. Born July 29, 1945 in Lehi, Utah, Jay spent his younger years working the family farm and developing an ethic that bolstered his character throughout his life. Jay studied at Utah State University and served as an officer in the Army National Guard for 8 years achieving the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. His talents apparent right from the start, Jay was promoted expeditiously to plant manager. His success in driving efficiency and creating profit earned him the responsibility of turning around under-performing plants in the system. In 1985, Jay continued his career serving as general manager and corporate consultant to modular home manufacturing companies across the nation. Jay lived and worked in 12 U.S. states, before Arizona became his home in 1997. Jay retired from Champion Home Builders of Chandler, AZ in 2009. In retirement, he served the community as a school bus driver. It was always enjoyable to hear the stories of his travels and unique experiences. His devoted and meaningful life was centered on family, work and our Lord Christ Jesus. Jay was baptized on January 16, 2005 and spent many years learning, developing and experiencing a relationship with Christ which he cherished deeply.
