Henry Avery Coker Henry Avery Coker, 94, of Buckeye passed away at home on October 27, 2018. He was born February 28, 1924 to Yondell & Willie (Busey) Coker in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. He was survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Lou McMillan, step daughters Tommie Fisher & Betty Heiden Turner and their sons, Joe, Andy & Russell Fisher and Bryan Heiden, along with cousins and nieces in New Mexico. Henry lived a full life, wanting for little and giving his all in his devotion to country and family, and his love of hunting and fishing. He was drafted into the Army in 1943 and fought with the 34 th Infantry (Red Bull) Division in North Africa and Italy. He then transitioned to the Air Force in 1947, eventually retiring after 20 years of service. Henry’s passing was peaceful. Here one day and gone the next. His stories, intellect, wisdom, kindness and love will be truly missed. Celebration of Life Service November 10, 2018, at the Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 Baseline Rd., Buckeye, at 10:30 am.
